Good snack food - STUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS squid in ink
In general when we are dieting run from the appetizers because usually usually quite caloric. It needs not be so, and as such these cabbage rolls stuffed squid in its ink, today we have taken as an appetizer.
Healthy and simple to prepare, an explosion of taste in your mouth when you give the first bite, certainly a recipe I repeat.
I used squid in its ink CALVO, the sauce this delicious and full of flavor green cabbage leaf. If you visit their website you can see that we provide good products like these that I show here.
Good snack food - STUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS squid in ink
INGREDIENTS:
4 leaves of curly green cabbage
1 can of squid in its ink CALVO
Virgin olive oil
Maldon salt
Flour
PREPARATION:
We put a large saucepan of salted water. Bring to the boil incorporate the well clean and cook whole leaves of cabbage for about 10-15 minutes, they must be cooked but retain their shape and do not break. Once we get cooked quickly and put it in a bowl with cold water and ice, thus cooking cut and not lose their nice green color.
Then dry with care and cut in half, removing the central trunk that is harder, we get 8 pieces.
The central trunks leaves can use them, for I have gone through flour and then have fried in hot oil, -them out on paper towels to remove excess oil-, they serve to decorate and to eat them as they are cooked, so do not throw anything.
We extend well the cabbage leaves and handed the can of squid in its ink CALVO, including give us to put a spoonful of dessert on each leaf and a little sauce left over that you can use to decorate the plate. Roll up the leaves with the stuffing, careful not to go out and presented on a plate. We'll take a drizzle of olive oil on each roll and some salt flakes.
