Green tea ice creme
A few days ago, I saw a similar recipe, I know what to do with green tea powder I have at home! With a few adjustments, I think I've got an ice cream quite similar to that he had taken in Japanese restaurants. For those who may live in Barcelona, you may be interested to know that the green tea powder bought in Ochiai patisserie, one of the few authentic Japanese patisseries. The ice cream itself is not hard to do, especially if you have a refrigerator, and is very creamy. I hardly notice the coconut flavor, it is very diluted by the flavor of green tea.
Ingredients:
1 can of 400 ml of coconut milk
3 egg yolks
120g brown sugar
10 g of matcha tea
Elaboration:
We start mixing the matcha tea with 20 grams of brown sugar. Add a few tablespoons of milk and mix well to form a paste. Besides, we will put the coconut milk to heat, incorporate the dissolving tea blend well without allowing it to boil.
On the other hand, mix the remaining sugar with three egg yolks. Build into the saucepan with the tea mixture and continue heating stirring well. As it begins to boil, we will remove and let cool.
Once cool, I'll leave tightly covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator. A chilled time mantecaremos with the help of a refrigerator until it is very thick. Tuper leave in a tightly covered in the freezer at least about 2 hours, and you're prepared ice cream.
